Musician Grenade Official has always claimed to be good friends with Nigerian award-winning musician Davido.
The pair even performed together this year in March when Davido held a show in Kampala.

Grenade revealed some Ugandans never wanted him to get close to Davido. They tried to block him, and it took Davido's intervention to arrange a meeting at Serena Hotel.
"We talked when he was still in Nigeria and agreed to meet, but when he arrived, his promoters tried to stop me from meeting him. They blocked all ways, and I was surprised when he personally called me for a meeting at Serena Hotel," Grenade said in an interview with a local television station.
He believes some promoters are just parasites in the industry and never wish good for Ugandan musicians.
