Ugandan comedians have made it a habit to make tribal jokes during their performances on almost every stage.
They mostly target Basoga, Batooro, and northerners.
Salvador has defended their actions, claiming tribal jokes are made worldwide and their intention is purely for fun.
"Tribal jokes are made worldwide. It's even worse in Nigeria, but the intention is to make people laugh. Beyond fun, that is something else," he partly said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Salvador is the most decorated Ugandan comedian of all time. He is always on a plane going for shows across the world.
