Musician Jose Chameleone is a known supporter of President Museveni and has for years rallied support for him, including singing in the famous "Tubonga Naawe" song.
While performing at Sevo's event over the weekend, Chameleone begged President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for studio equipment.
The singer explained that he will soon be retiring from music but needs to keep sharing knowledge and skills with future musicians, and to do that he needs a studio.
"Dear President, we love you and support you. I am personally thinking about retiring from music, but I need a studio from you. I want that studio to empower the youth and also guide them in different skills and knowledge," he partly said.
Chameleon was also later granted a one-on-one discussion with the President at the same event.
