Bukedde TV's Simo Omunene has been a topic of discussion over the weekend after being embarrassed by Bobi Wine during a concert at Serena Hotel.
Upon Bobi Wine's arrival, Simo expressed happiness towards the NUP President and reached out to shake his hand, but Bobi Wine ignored the gesture.
Simo has since explained that critics are trying to create a rift between him and Bobi Wine, but they will not succeed. He added that he is planning to meet with the NUP President.
"Critics just want to separate me from Bobi Wine, but they won't succeed because I have a deep relationship with him," he explained.
Simo Omunene intends to contest for Mayor of Makindye Division on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket.
