Music and politics are currently intertwined in Uganda, especially after Bobi Wine joined politics and contested for the presidency.
Different artists have since run for various offices, with some benefiting from the ruling government, while others align with the opposition.
With this backdrop, band singer Vivian Tendo has hinted at joining active politics and expressed her interest in running for Mityana Woman Member of Parliament.
She made the remarks on social media, writing, "Mityana Woman MP to beđź‘€."
Vivian Tendo will face stiff competition from the current MP, Joyce Bagala, Minister of Lands Judith Nabakooba, and actress Mukisa Prossy Nabbosa, if she decides to follow through with her plans.
