In 2019, musician Eddy Kenzo went through a difficult time when his ex, Rema Namakula, chose to move on with Dr. Hamza Ssebunya.
Kenzo even cried live on Facebook, leading many to believe he was going through depression after suffering a heartbreak.
However, the singer revealed that he has never been depressed because of love. He explained that he was simply emotional, which caused the tears to flow, but it was never depression.
"I have never been depressed because of love. Not everyone who cries openly is depressed. I was emotional, just like any other person. It was simply emotions, and it can happen to anyone at any time," he said.
Kenzo made this statement during Mental Health Day at UNMF, which aimed to raise awareness that mental health is real.
