John Segawa holds great respect for Jose Chameleon for his immense contributions to the entertainment industry in Uganda.
Segawa regards Chameleon as the godfather of the industry, crediting him as a key figure who opened doors for many in the industry.
He criticized former members of Chameleon's team for making derogatory comments about him, asserting that they have no right to criticize him.
According to Segawa, King Saha, in particular, should apologize to Chameleon for his disrespectful remarks, acknowledging that he owes his career to Chameleon.
"You were under his roof; you slept on his sofas like a family member, and he did great things for you. Learn to appreciate instead of focusing on the negatives when there are so many positives to acknowledge. People like Saha have called out Chameleon publicly, but they should apologize to him," Segawa stated.
The filmmaker and director believes Chameleon's contributions to the entertainment industry far outweigh any of his mistakes, and he deserves the utmost respect.
