Legendary comedian Mpirwe Nicholas, popularly known as Messe, passed away on Thursday this week in the United States of America.
It is alleged that Messe succumbed to heart failure in the state of Arizona.
The Vice President of the Ugandan North American Association (UNAA), Charles Bukenya Muvawala, revealed that they need 100 million Ugandan shillings to repatriate his body.
"We are in need of a significant amount of money, around 100 million Ugandan shillings, to bring the body of our deceased brother home. I call upon everyone to join us in this fundraiser," he explained in an interview with a local television station.
They have called on Messe's friends and well-wishers to join in supporting this cause.
