MP Muhammad Ssegirinya was laid to rest at his parents' ancestral home in Kadugala, Masaka District.
The burial was marked by drama as factions aligned with Mathias Mpuuga and Bobi Wine clashed over the body of the late MP.
Reports have emerged indicating that seventeen children were presented to Ssegirinya's mother, all claiming paternity rights.
In addition, mothers of nine more children have come forward, alleging that Ssegirinya is the father of their children.
Ssegirinya's mother and family have reportedly arranged DNA tests for all the children to establish their paternity.
Prior to his burial, media reports suggested that Ssegirinya had only eight children. However, the number has now risen to seventeen, with nine additional children allegedly brought forward during the burial over the weekend.
