Alex Luwemba Luswa, also known as Muhammad, has never moved on even after the Kawempe by-elections which were held on March 13th of this year.
Alex Luwemba has accused the National Unity Platform party of asking for money from him in exchange for the party ticket.
He alleges that John Sebuffu, who is a member of the party's electoral commission, demanded to know his net worth. When he responded with ten million Uganda shillings, he was laughed off.
"I lost because I didn't have money. I was asked about my financial muscle, and Sebuffu, who is in charge of the commission, laughed me off after telling him I was planning to get a loan of ten million Uganda shillings," he partly explained.
Alex Luwemba claims broke people shouldn't expect to be given the party ticket in the National Unity Platform because it is for sale.
Luwemba's allegations come just weeks after comical politician Moses Nsereko also made the same suggestions, revealing that he paid ten million to the NUP electoral commission and still lost the party ticket.
NUP endorsed Elias Luyimbazi Nalukoola, who eventually won the by-election and is currently representing the constituency in parliament after taking the oath last week.
