Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte has recently come under the spotlight of talking about the Buganda Kingdom projects accusing the Buganda Prime Miniter Peter Mayiga as merciless by exorting money from the poor Baganda!
In the viral audio, Muzaata poured scorn on Mayiga’s efforts of collecting funds (ETTOFAALI) for development projects in the kingdom, saying the initiative is meant to enrich a few officials.
Muzaata further said the poor people should concentrate on empowering themselves to get rid of household poverty instead of contributing the little they have to Buganda kingdom.
Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga's response in yesterday's meeting with Buganda Ministers:
"I am doing it again until what we want to do has been completed. We still have many other projects to work on," he added.
The Kingdom intends to construct a hosiptal in future among other projects after the completion of Kasubi and Wamala tombs. Said Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga
