News reaching our desk, the ‘Oli Kasana Rema Namakula’ singer is a happy dude after landing and singing a multi-million deal with Church Of Uganda.
Our snoops have been told that Walukaga, was contacted for his educative songs which are appreciated by the grass-root people. The source further tells us that the deal was reached in presence of the Retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo. He has been tasked to compose a song about Uganda’s martyrs which will eventually act as a campaign song for the renovation of Uganda Martyrs Museum.
This comes at the helm of Pope Francis announcement--- that he will be visiting Uganda for a week come this June.
The song will be used to raise over Shs 36 billion needed for the construction of a Museum at Namugongo.
According to Bakka Male, the chairperson of the building committee for the museum, said the project is aimed at bolstering tourism and improving the church’s revenue base.
