Little known musician and song writer, Derrick Kantongole better known as Lyto boss has finally dragged singer Iryn Namubiru to commercial court over copyright infringement of his “Anjagala” song.
When Howwe.biz broke the story of Iryn-Catherine-Lyto war, many took the matter to the people’s court on social media and it emerged that actually singer Iryn Namubiru got a song in unclear business that was headed by singer Catherine Kusasira.

Well, Howwe bees have come to learn that Lyto boss has filed a law suit in his suit filed against Iryn Namubiru for adamantly performing Anjagala song without his authorization.

As for now, Lyto Boss wants court to declare that he is the owner of the song’s copyright and (Namubiru) is an imposter.
In his file, he has requested court to impose a permanent injunction against Iryn Namubiru, prohibiting her and her agents from performing, broadcasting, reproducing, distributing or otherwise dealing in the song. More so, he demands court to grant him general damages, costs of the suit and interest on sh50m that he purports to be the price worth of his song, at commercial rate from the date of filing the suit till full payment.
