Gospel musician Judith Babirye has picked forms to contest on NRM ticket to run for Woman parliamentary in Buikwe district.
The NRM EC chairperson, Dr. Tanga Odoi received Judith Babirye and led her to the tables where she was registered and given the forms.
Judith Babirye said she wants to help her people move from substance agriculture to commercial agriculture. She however said she would continue to glorify God even in parliament and said she was ‘favored’ to win the seat.
She went ahead to say a prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, i thank you for the how far i've come. Please continue to guide me on this political trail that in evetything i do, your name may be lifted high in Jesus' mighty name. 'AM NOW FULLY NOMINATED AS BUIKWE DISTRICT WOMAN MP ASPIRANT 2016.......
