Trouble has befallen Jimmy Chelangat, the Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Bukwo district who is accused of allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl.
Sebei Region Police Spokesperson, Rogers Tayitika, says the suspect was picked up from Eden Bar and Lodge in Kapchorwa Municipality following a complaint from the girl's parents.
According to Police, the girl's father Fred Chemonges claims that the suspect convinced the girl to leave their home in Tegeres in Kapchorwa and traveled with her to Kampala in May this year where they spent over a month.
Tayitika says the suspect is expected to appear later today in court. Our reporter was unable to get a comment from the suspect.
