Local singer Tupee Goggaflow who is a darling to the people of Gulu district is nursing wounds after some goons ambushed him clobbered him to near death in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
According to reports, Tupee was attacked moments after arriving at his home from Club Dome promotions where had performed for his fans.
“It’s a sad Saturday morning to northern Uganda as singer Tupee was hit on head with panga while at his home early dawn,” a one Okello Stephen is quoted by local tabloid.
It is said after entering the house; he reportedly remembered had a phone which he had forgotten in his vehicle, returning to pick his phone from the vehicle, he was hit on the head screaming for mercy before resident rushed him to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital emergency ward but later referred to Lacor Hospital unconscious for further treatment.
The latest we hear is that the singer is out of danger and recovering well.
