NTV star Douglas Lwanga must go and eat his chicken. Organising a successful event around Kampala has become a very hard test and only the strong hearted can dare the risk.
On Sunday NTV the beat presenter staged his annual Purple party show at Uganda Museum where revellers were taxed 20K Ugx. To our surprise, Douglas who had advertised almost all the cream Ugandan artistes received a handful of fans. Okay, let's say...the turn up didn't meet most fans expectations.
It's believed that this was a result of Galaxy Fm staging its Zzina beach fest in Entebbe Imperial resort beach on the same day and targeting the same crowd plus Vision group holding Toto's Show at kyadondo rugby club
Earlier in the day Douglas almost shade tears but was saved by a few fans that embraced the event later in the evening. Some of the artistes that performed included Bebe cool, Jose Chameleone, Gravity, Leila Kayondo,Voltage music,Rema Namakula comedians Madrat and chicko among many others.
Actually, in many whatsap groups and other social media groups, the discusion is about Douglas Lwanga and how his friends (artistes) he has given a hand can betray him when he needed them most.
