On Wednesday, rally driver and businessman, Desh Kananura was seen sweating plasma after the police men raided his Naguru based hang out, Panamera Bar and Restaurant. Desh is accused of encroaching on land that belongs to one Radamohan to construct his bar.
Desh took on his social media accounts to express anger.
He ranted; "I have been attacked by goons and police trying to take my land but that will not happen,”
He added "BUSSINESS AS USUAL NICE TRY I AM A WARRIOR I SHALL NOT STOP AT ANYTHING. PANAMERA OK,"
According to the businessman, he rushed to court to secure an injunction blocking the police from evicting him.
Through his lawyers M/S Nangumya and Co Advocates, Desh was able to have Justice Christopher Madrama Izama overturn the actions of his attackers.
The court hearing of the case is on September 20.
Desh then chest-thumped; "That’s the stay of execution! Nice try Radamohan now you know. Panamera is not going anywhere?”
Panamera has been in existence for close to 8 years and no one has ever come out to claim the said land until now.
Sources close to Desh, say some government officials are busy fighting him secretly.
However, Desh says he is not moved by the false allegations about the ownership of his land. Desh is a well connected with the government and comes from Kagonyera family.
Two years back, Panamera was closed after he was accused of killing his worker at the same premises. It was later reopened.
