Popular Ugandan media personality and YouTuber Isaac Daniel Katende, known as Kasuku, has revealed he declined a job offer from Next Media.

According to Kasuku, the media house's strict policy against employees running personal YouTube channels was the main reason.

Kasuku, the creator of the popular entertainment channel Kasuku Live, stated that shutting down his platform, a significant source of income and part of his brand, was not an option.

He shared his views while discussing Haffy Powers' move from BBS Terefayina to Next Media, noting that her new role might hinder her YouTube collaborations.

Haffy Powers is reportedly the new co-host of Sanyuka TV’s morning show, replacing Precious Remmie, who is focusing on her newborn. Kasuku also disclosed that Next Media had previously shown interest in his Talk and Talk Show, co-hosted with Eddie Sendi and others, but their offer was declined as it didn't meet the show's value.

Despite interest from other media houses, Talk and Talk continues to air on Kasuku Live every Saturday. Besides his YouTube channel, Kasuku is a regular on KFM's morning show and co-hosts a Friday show on Baba TV.
