Emma Carlos's tricks of extorting money from music promoters seem to get better day by day.
Now news reaching our desk indicates that Emma Carlos is on the run for allegedly obtaining money from a one Abraham, music promoter from Gulu on behalf of Khalifa Aganaga, an artiste he no longer manages.
Our snoops have learnt that Emma Carlos received 1 million shillings from Abraham in Kabalagala as part payment after agreeing on 1.5 Million shillings.
The balance was to be paid at the venue on the day of the show but Emma Carlos went on to ask for more 200,000 shillings to facilitate him to the venue.
Abraham sent mobile money to Emma Carlos's friend as Emma had directed.
Abraham told Howwe that he was shocked to learn that Emma Carlos's phones were switched off yet he was not at the venue as agreed.
He says he further went on to call a friend, Dj Roja, who told him he was with Khalifa Aganaga in Makindye for a show.
Abraham also accuses Emma Carlos of neglecting his calls for the last 2 months, something that has forced him to file a case at the police seeking a refund and damages amounting to 4.8 Million shillings.
It is clear that this is not the first time Emma Carlos has been involved in fraud scandals as he was allegedly fired from Goodlyfe for the same reason.
