Dancehall musician Ziza Bafana has no kind words for Bebe Cool following his playlist comments over the weekend.
During a TikTok discussion, Bebe Cool claimed he has full control over music playlists on radio and television in Uganda.
The Gagamel boss explained that he chooses the music played on different platforms and has the ability to stop radios and TVs from playing music by his critics.
His comments have since been criticized by Bafana, who says Bebe Cool is the reason Ugandan music is lagging behind.
He also says Bebe Cool personally will not go international because he is "cursed by different struggling artists' comments".
"You are a man with a kind heart," Bafana stated, continuing, "You are keeping the industry backwards with ego and hate all the time. Upcoming artists are suffering because of you, and many are not making it to the top. You will also not break through to the international market because you are cursed."
Bafana believes Bebe Cool should be investing in upcoming artists and guiding them instead of hindering their growth.
