Not so long ago, Socialite Zari Hassan was appointed the Uganda Tourism Ambassador but her position hanged in balance when Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo was crowned Miss Africa.
Uganda Tourism Board management has come out to clear the air on whether Zari will remain acting as Tourism Ambassador or not.
While addressing the media, the UTB Pro, Ms. Sandra Natukunda told journalists that Zari Hassan will keep working as the Tourism Ambassador even after appointing Quiin Abenakyo.
Stressing the difference between a goodwill ambassador and an appointed Ambassador, the Ms. Sandra Natukunda said Zari came on board to market Uganda in South Africa where she resides and beyond while Quiin Abenakyo will be appointed as Ambassador because of what she has achieved as Miss World Africa.
However, Ms. Sandra urged both Ambassadors will work hand in hand for a better Uganda.
