Legendary singer Awilo Longomba jetted into the country mid last week for his concert that took place at Serena Hotel, Kampala on Friday before heading to Arua for an extra show.
The show that happened at Onduparaka’s Green Light Stadium on Sunday was a total sell out. The stadium filled to capacity, leaving a number of fans stranded outside.
Ugandan stars like Jackie Chandiru curtain raised and warmed up the audience before Awilo Longomba took centre stage to pull off an impressive performance after a 20 years absence from the Ugandan stages.
Awilo Longomba is expected to fly back to Kampala to finalise music projects with Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone before heading for France where he resides.
