Following the Suspension of the former boss of Uganda performing rights society (UPRS), James Wasula, the head of Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), Sofie Gombya has announced that the body is in the process of appointing a new CEO who is going to be decided through a voting process that is open to all members registered with the organisation.
In a bid to make the society operate in a better way compared to what it has been before, all the members have been called upon to participate in this activity which is slated to happen this week.
It is going to be the beginning of a new era and a new dawn in the Ugandan Music Industry!
