People Power supporters are still hurting over Ashburg Katto’s betrayal. He denounced People Power pressure group led by Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine for the ruling National Resistance Movement.
“I am Ashburg Kato formerly of People Power but as of now, I subscribe to the National Resistance Movement. I am here to apologise to President Museveni and promoter Balaam Barugahare for the incessant attacks against them on social media,” Ashburg officially announced
People Power vocal supporter and Kawempe councillor, Muhammed Ssegirinnya claims Ashburg’s defection will not affect People Power in any way.
‘Ashburg is ignorant. His defection won’t affect us. He doesn’t own a hen or anything apart from a smartphone and Facebook account. The followers he was boosting about have all unfollowed him, he is remaining with LDUs, Policemen, UPDF and other insignificants. We won’t miss him," he said during an interview with one of the local TV stations
