After Sanyu FM fired employees who were involved in protest over pay cut, the management embarked on recruiting new talent. Comedian Salvador was hired first amidst protest from listeners. A section of public claimed he didn't fit to replace James Onen a.k.a Fat Boy as the host of Sanyu Breakfast show.
At first, he presented the show alone and currently, he runs it with Ethan Kavuma.
Yvone Koreta and Deedan who were poached from Nxt Radio and Radiocity respectively.
Kampala Road based Radio station is using poaching as a strategy of rebuilding Sanyu FM. Salvador warned other stations to look out for their employees because the management will hire whoever they want.
According to the “Just 4 Laughs” boss, they are planning to hire every big personality on Radio.
Salvador said his bosses have money to pay whoever they want.
Radio veteran Rodger Mugisha and popular bar Marketer Gareth Onyango are the brains behind the poaching.
