Musicians Eddy Kenzo and Levixone scooped awards at the Global Music Awards.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Global Music Awards Africa was held as a virtual event in Ghana’s Accra.
Kenzo was voted the Global male Act of the year while Levixone won the Global gospel song of the year.
Many Ugandans didn't take to social media to congratulate the two.
This didn't go well with Salvador who expressed his displeasure with Ugandans.
He said they beat all odds to win such Big awards in these Covid-19 times.
"I just don't understand why we aren't making a lot of noise about this. My guys have done it even under the conditions we have been subjected to by this Pandemic, t y are still being globally recognized. Thank you Eddy Kenzo and my son Levixone for keeping the Ugandan fire Burning," he posted on his social media platforms.
In the Global Gospel Song of the year, Levixone’s song had been nominated against ‘God Alone’ (Joe Praize), ‘W’asem’ (Diana Hamilton), ‘Jesus Over Do’ (Empress Gifty Osei), ‘Worthy To Be Praise’ (Prospa Ochimana), and ‘Revival’ (Michael Mahendere).
