The President of the Uganda Musicians' Association (UMA), Cindy, has asked musicians to verify their membership with the association if they are to receive the Covid-19 relief fund from the government.
The call was announced by BigEye and Rena Nalumansi who are part of the leadership.
The pair said UMA had been selected by the Ministry of Gender to submit a list of musicians in Uganda upon which each will receive Shs 100,000.
It should be noted that some musicians recently quit UMA to form separate associations, among them is Chameleone, Kusasira, Pallaso, and many more. UMA says it has over 3,000 musicians under its umbrella.
