Officers from Kiyindi police station in Mukono district are in trouble after a man accused them of damaging his manhood.

The complainant is Deo Wasswa, 27, a resident of Kiyindi LC I in  Kiyindi town council who alleges that on June 15th, 2022, officers from Kiyindi police station stormed his residence under the command of John Bosco Amandara and ordered him to enter his house.

He reportedly inquired from the officers why they were ordering him to enter his house but they instead started assaulting him and grabbed him by his manhood and dragged him to the police station.

Amandara explains that he was bleeding by the time he arrived at the police station. "At police they told that I am involved motorcycle robberies within the area since my official work is riding bodaboda," Wasswa said.

The victim says he can hardly wear under garments or even trousers. It takes him about half an hour to pass urine. His wife has since abandoned him together with their two son, who has since dropped out of school.
Wasswa returned the motorcycle he was using to ride Boda boda to his boss after losing hope of working again.

His mother Cissy Namugga, says that they have failed to raise money required for her son's treatment. She explains that the hospital asked them to raise Shillings 500, 000 for a scan.

The Ssezibwa Regional Police Spokesperson, Hellen Butoto appeals to the affected residents to report the matter to Lugazi central police station for expeditious response.
