Troubled city tycoon, Elvis Ssekyanzi Wavamunno was sent to Luzira prison last week over failure to clear an outstanding debt amounting to USD230,000 (Shs 830M) from Mash Investment Limited in the year 2016.
He has been behind bars for the past few days and was expected to get his freedom after paying UGX 200M but unfortunately, the court turned down the bail application.
Elvis Ssekyanzi was tasked to pay at least a quarter of the money but failed and was again remanded to Luzira.
