A good number of Nigerian artists have already performed in Kampala this year.
So it shouldn't be a surprise that many music lovers have been looking forward to musician Burna boy's performance. A poster made the rounds on social media advertising his show, causing excitement online.
He was allegedly scheduled to perform at Kololo Airstrip in December this year.
The singer has, however, denied having any knowledge about the event and confirmed that the show is a hoax.
"Uganda my People! Please disregard this show it’s fake and False advertising I won’t be there, ” he tweeted on Friday.
Burna boy last performed in Uganda in 2019 at Sheraton Gardens.
