Bushman's wife commonly known as Mama Ghetto has been advocating for zero tolerance of domestic violence.
After musician Weasel thumped his lover, Sandra Teta, Mama Ghetto was among the people that told her to leave the musician.

Although no case has been brought against Weasel, Mama Ghetto believes women who are battled by their lovers deserve safe places they can call home.
She called upon all women to join her in setting up a home for victims of domestic violence.
“I call upon all women in influential positions to join efforts with me and construct homes for women trying to escape domestic violence so that they can have a new beginning,” she said in a recent interview
She has been fighting to see that Sandra Teta gets justice, but she told her to back off.
Mama ghetto has now shifted her energies to fighting for all women suffering in violent relationships.
