After the Nyege Nyege festival, a video of rapper VIP Jemo landed online in which he was seen wasted.

Jemo looked drunk and couldn’t help himself to stand. He had lost his stamina and was plastered with mud as a result of falling onto the ground several times.

He was criticized heavily for not acting like a star, but he has come out to say that he was only shooting a music video and all that was seen is part of a script.
“I have a new song and we decided to shoot the video at Nyege Nyege. I wasn’t drunk,” he says
If it’s true, Jemo joins a list of musicians like Bebe Cool who recorded videos for their songs at Nyege Nyege.
