Musician Vyper Ranking says music released by artists this year is below standard.
The dancehall singer claims the only good songs released this year are "Take it slow" in which he featured Winnie Nwagi, "Abantu" by A Pass, and "Nana" by Joshua Baraka. Others are not worthy to be called songs.
"Hello Uganda, I just wanna let you know that you only have three songs so far this year. And that is "Take it slow" @vyperrankingmusic ft Winnie Nwagi "Abantu" by A PASS and "Nana" by @itsjoshuabaraka. Others are rubbish," he wrote.
His comments have not been well received by a section of Ugandan artists including musician Cosign who in turn trashed Vyper Ranking's career claiming he is only surviving on collaborations.
"Thank collaborations, you don't even have an independent HIT song all your career. One song I do in a year is worth all your catalogue you have done 🤣🤣🤣 sorry young man work smarter, not harder," he wrote after reading Vyper Ranking's claims on Twitter.
