Qute Kaye, a renowned musician, recently spoke about his initial experience with marijuana, which led him down a dangerous path of addiction. The situation reached a climax when he was caught stealing car lights.
Kaye revealed that he first tried weed in 2009 while on his way to perform at a birthday party. He expressed regret, saying, “I smoked on my way to perform at a birthday party. I wish I knew what I knew then."
He further says in a Galaxy FM interview;
As he drove from Kitintale to Namugongo for the event, he began to feel extremely hungry. Unfortunately, there was no food at the party, only alcohol. Searching for food in Namugongo proved fruitless, so they walked to Kireka, where they found 'katogo' along the railway line. After eating, Kaye felt better, but he was unable to drive, so they walked back to Namugongo and performed.
Kaye's experience with drugs had a devastating effect on his life, but he has since turned his life around and is on the path to recovery.
