Cinderella Sanyu, the president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), remains unaffected by Sheebah's prominent position as the deputy president of the newly formed Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).
In a recent TV interview, Cindy questioned Sheebah's leadership skills, expressing her lack of concern regarding whether she holds a leadership role or not. Cindy's primary focus lies solely on the goals of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), the association she currently leads, as other matters hold no importance to her.
Cindy explicitly stated, "I don't mind whether Sheebah takes a bigger position or not. What I care about are the goals of the Uganda Musicians Association [UMA], which I lead as president."
It is worth mentioning that Cindy, also known as Cinderella Sanyu, previously referred to Sheebah as a "dummy" due to her inability to write her own music. She stood by this statement during an interview with a local radio station in 2022.
Cindy clarified that her comment was not specifically targeted at Sheebah but encompassed all artists who rely on others to write their music and manage their content.
She regarded such dependence as being equivalent to a doll in a shop, emphasizing her belief that artists should take charge of their creative process and personal brand.
