Two of Uganda's biggest musicians, Eddy Kenzo and Carol Nantongo, were scheduled to perform at an event in Eastern Uganda last week. However, their management teams clashed over stage time, leading to chaos at the DJ's booth.
Carol Nantongo arrived at the venue earlier and prepared to take the stage. However, when Eddy Kenzo arrived, his team insisted that he perform immediately, as he had to return to Kampala promptly.
They requested Carol Nantongo to perform only one song and then allow Kenzo to take over the stage, with the understanding that she could complete her performance afterward.
To the surprise of Eddy Kenzo and his team, Carol Nantongo expressed her desire to perform more than one song, which led to a disagreement that they couldn't resolve.
Tensions escalated when both Carol Nantongo's and Eddy Kenzo's DJs wanted their respective artists to perform first. Chaos ensued at the DJ's booth as the conflicting interests clashed.
