Lugaflo artist Gereson Wabuyu, better known as Gravity Omutujju, stirred up controversy during the "Takula Obwongo" event hosted by 90.6 Busoga One FM in Jinja over the weekend.
The show, initially going smoothly, took a dramatic turn when the singer lost his cool and allegedly hit his DJ with a microphone.
In a video capturing the incident, Gravity Omutujju can be seen expressing his anger, apparently triggered by his DJ's alleged mishandling of some music. The singer threw the microphone at the DJ and used strong language in the heat of the moment.
Onlookers at the event came to the DJ's defense, suggesting that technical issues with his equipment might have contributed to the problem.
However, a section of internet users has raised doubts, speculating that the incident could be a staged publicity stunt orchestrated by Gravity Omutujju to create awareness for his upcoming "Okwepicha Concert."
