Last week, musicians and couple Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu celebrated ten years of their marriage.
The ceremony was graced by various musicians, including NUP President Bobi Wine, B2C singers, and band singer Chosen Becky.
Lutaaya explained that their marriage deserved a celebration because it has been full of ups and downs.
"Marriage is not an easy thing because of the challenges, but when you move for so long together as we have done, you need to celebrate," he partly said in an interview with Spark TV.
He also mentioned that God has blessed them with children and many other things. Their marriage deserves a celebration because it is already bearing fruit.
"We have children, and God blessed us with bright kids. We have accomplished many things, the things we used to dream about, and these have come because of marriage," he added.
Namatovu, on the other hand, says the celebration of the anniversary is a renewal of their relationship and confirmation that they are still together until death does them part.
