Kenyan music icon Nazizi has shared a heartfelt message about the profound loss of her youngest son, Jazeel Adam, who tragically passed away last December during a family vacation in Tanzania.

The sorrowful news was followed by Jazeel's burial in Nairobi, adhering to Islamic traditions.

In an emotional Instagram post, 50 days after her son's untimely death, Nazizi expressed the depth of her grief, describing her daily struggle with the absence of her beloved Jazeel.

"Broken, drowning in the darkness, I will never be okay again. How do I keep going without the light of my life? Why should I wake up every morning, just to cry and miss you all day?" Nazizi shared.

She continued to remember Jazeel, affectionately known as "jiji," highlighting the joy he brought to their family.

"This video just captures your spirit in a few seconds. All you ever needed was for us 4 to be together all the time. You brought a new meaning to family. My boy, life is unbearable without you. Mama loves you so much, and I would do anything to be with you again. I will never be the same, my world stopped when you left me," Nazizi wrote.

The tragic news of Jazeel's passing was initially announced by Nazizi through a formal statement.

It revealed the circumstances of the young boy's death, describing it as a "tragic passing" due to "an unfortunate accident" at a hotel where the family was staying.

The statement further conveyed the family's immeasurable loss and the indescribable pain they are enduring.

"In these dark times, the light of a child's life—in all its innocence and joy—is undeniably the purest. The void left by the loss is both immeasurable, and the pain is unbearable," it read.On
