Hon. Peace Mutuuzo, Minister of State for Gender, has announced that the long-awaited copyright law is almost ready to rock!
In a TV interview, she assured everyone it won't be more than two months before the President signs it, finally giving creators the legal shield they've been craving.
"I am incredibly confident that the copyright law will be released very soon," said Minister Mutuuzo. "In fact, it might not even take more than two months before the President signs it into law."
Initially, the bill encountered a slight delay due to the absence of Gender Ministry officials during crucial discussions. However, it has since been reviewed by the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and is on the final leg of its journey.
