Musician Kabako has urged those responsible for combating drug abuse in society to address the issue among musicians.
Kabako explained that there is widespread drug abuse and addiction among musicians, warning that many of them will lose their careers if the problem is not addressed promptly.
He also highlighted that drugs are predominantly used by female musicians and emphasized the need to address the issue comprehensively, rather than focusing solely on the male gender.
"Drugs are ravaging our fellow musicians, and we are just watching. People are going to lose their lives, and families are going to be affected. We need to stand up and fight this vice, especially among female musicians," he stated.
Earlier this year, the UNMF President, Eddy Kenzo, revealed that he had implemented measures and rehabilitation programs aimed at curbing drug abuse in the industry.
