Last week, producer and songwriter Daddy Andre revealed his plans to stage a concert at Serena Hotel with an entrance fee of ten million Ugandan shillings per head.
Andre explained that he only wanted one hundred people to attend the concert.
The singer emphasized his absence from the media and other artists' shows in an attempt to create scarcity. He believes this way, his demand will be high, and his supporters will be willing to pay whatever he asks to see him perform.
"I want only 100 people at Serena Hotel, and each of those willing to pay ten million Ugandan shillings so they can watch me perform. I have the value, and that's why you don't see me everywhere," Andre said in an interview last week.
Now, rising star Biswanka has dismissed the claims, stating that no one would be willing to pay ten million Ugandan shillings to watch Andre perform.
He believes the "Njakukadiwa naawe" singer has nothing to offer and is just a regular musician like many others.
"No one would pay UGX 10M to watch Daddy Andre live in concert. What's so special for people to watch there?" he responded to a journalist's question regarding Daddy Andre's plans.
Biswanka is widely known in the media for controversial reasons. In early February, the singer claimed he wanted to reignite Dr. Hilderman's career with collaboration. He was also accused of having an affair with the wife of his ex-manager, Moon.
