Zambali Bulasio Mukasa, a famous Luganda news anchor and the host of the Barometer, was reportedly suspended from NBS Television over political utterances.
According to media analyst and gossip monger Frank Ntambi, Mukasa's problems started when he lavished overwhelming praise on Bobi Wine during King Saha's concert at Hotel Africana.
It's alleged that he received his first warning letter from the bosses, and recently, this month, he received his second, which led to his suspension after engaging in a heated argument with one of the panelists of the Barometer show, David Kabanda, who happens to be Muhoozi Kainerugaba's coordinator for the Buganda Region.
However, Mukasa denied being suspended and stated that he is on his annual leave.
"I'll be away for weeks, in accordance with the company's annual leave policy. Temusala Omugambo, see you soon, keep Locked on," he tweeted on his Twitter handle.
