Musician Moses Ssali, famously known as Bebe Cool, recently shared an astonishing incident from his past.
Despite being invited to perform at an event at Mengo Palace, he was reportedly turned away at the gate. Bebe Cool claims that his support for President Museveni has led to tensions with certain leaders within the Buganda Kingdom.
He took to TikTok to recount the incident, saying,
"Some leaders in the Buganda Kingdom have so much hate against me. I remember one time I was bounced at the gate and asked to leave. I came prepared to perform for Kabaka but was told I will not do so because I support President Museveni, and I left a disappointed man."
Despite this, Bebe Cool maintains that he holds great love and respect for the Kabaka of Buganda but accuses some kingdom leaders of being hypocrites.
