Earlier this month, a video surfaced online showing Ava Peace enjoying time with media personality Sheila Gashumba at an upscale location outside Uganda.
Online “in-laws” speculated that the pair had traveled abroad to hook up with wealthy men.
However, Ava Peace dismissed the rumors, saying she was abroad for work and happened to meet Sheila Gashumba at the same venue by coincidence.
"I have never gone abroad for any hook-up; I always go for the bookings I have and to work. It’s not what people think. It was a coincidence that I met Sheila at the same place, and I just asked her for a challenge for my new song—there’s nothing more,” she explained.
Ava Peace maintains she is focused solely on music, and new projects will be released soon.
