Comedian and entertainer Amooti Omubalaguzi will celebrate 25 years of laughter on December 13 this year at UMA Showgrounds Lugogo.
Amooti, however, says he didn’t start as a comedian; he initially pursued music before finding love and comfort in comedy.
“I started my music career in 1997. I used to sing like Buju Banton and was called Bugie Wugie at the time. However, I fell deeply in love with making people happy through jokes and devoted most of my time to it,” he explained.
Amooti remains grateful for his journey, which he believes is worthy of celebration, and he expects his fans to show up in large numbers on that day.
