Despite past disagreements and public clashes, particularly when Eddy Kenzo criticized NUP President Bobi Wine, musician King Saha has expressed a willingness to collaborate with Kenzo on a shared goal: achieving better copyright protection for musicians.

While Saha previously distanced himself from Kenzo's federation when it launched in 2023, he now believes they can work together, albeit through a different approach.

Saha advocates for taking direct action through protests, stating he's lost faith in negotiating with the government.

"I can work with Kenzo to demand copyright, but through protest means," Saha explained in a television interview. "I don't want to massage them because they don't listen. If peaceful means have failed, let's protest."

Saha has even bigger plans, revealing he intends to lead a protest to the Ugandan Parliament to demand copyright law reform. He's reportedly already in discussions with other musicians who are interested in joining the cause.

Saha believes that peaceful negotiations have proven ineffective and that only public pressure will compel the government to take action on copyright issues.
