Musician Bebe Cool was scheduled to headline this week's Comedy Store edition at Roza Dymes in Kololo.
However, the singer declined to perform, despite arriving at the event early.
It is alleged that Bebe Cool demanded full payment before taking the stage, which Muhangi was unable to provide.
Muhangi reportedly promised to pay Bebe Cool after the performance, an arrangement the Gagamel boss refused, leading to his decision not to perform.
Bebe Cool subsequently left the venue with his wife, Zuena, leaving Muhangi visibly upset. Muhangi then took to social media to express his disappointment.
"Now I understand why people don't like Bebe Cool 😏," Alex Muhangi wrote.
