Mary Luswata's show hasn't been cancelled, no, not really, but tell that to UGO, Campusbee, Theinsider and ShowbizUganda who rushed into making conclusions based on their own beliefs.
Feb. 13, Howwe.biz broke the story "He's F*#ked In The A**' — Mary Luswata Goes HAM On Peng Peng [Video]" which raised a lot of controversies after the video from behind the scenes of her popular show "scoop on scoop" revealed Mary Luswata using an obscene statement while attacking controversial youtuber, Peng Peng Vibes.
False reports suddenly emerged from online blogs indicating that Luswata had lost her Urban TV show because of using rough-cut words while reporting gossip about celebrities.
According to new reports, the video was not supposed to be shown to the public just like all of the behind the scenes footages of her show, but was allegedly leaked by Peng Peng who got his hands on it. But this is a rumor we can't confirm.
Yesterday, Feb. 19, Mary Luswata's show still aired at 9pm, just like it always has, rubishing the false reports of her show's cancellation.
It however has to be noted that Lokodo is serious about the anti-pornography law. The issue of whether Luswata's show stands a risk of cancellation is still a pending topic but we can't make any conclusions now.
